Management change: Due to time constraints and other real life assorted annoyances, Jade and myself have given the position of DM over to the ever-trustworthy Bran. General questions and the like will go to him now, as will the duty of choosing new X-RP players (Jade and I will still be getting copies of all applications, whether Guest or Player -- so no funny business!) and all other tasks Jade and I used to accomplish. On the outside, nothing at all will change, so be at rest :) A big thank you goes to Bran, of course, for accepting the modship.

PC to NPC: Because Jade and I won't be posting actively for our individual characters (not that we'd been actively posting for them recently...*gulp*), I've moved them over to the NPCs section; their powers, however, have remained listed under the Powers section with a note beside them ('NPC owned'). I decided to do this because Jade and I will be posting for them again, and it is important information for players to know.

Aside from that, not much else is new. I will continue to update this website with new information as time goes on, so keep an eye out as you always do.

Some new things for ya:

Old friends back in action: Karen is back! Her character bio & power description are both back up. I think some of it needs to be updated, but we'll get to that later...

New friends joining the action: Matt (Jacen Maclay) has joined as our resident Spiderman-type, and soon miss Penny will as well; congrats to both of you. Matt's character's bio & power description are up in the Characters section; Penny's is coming soon.

From PC to NPC: David Thanter has been moved from the Characters section to the NPCs section, as the player is no longer with us.

New NPC: Bran Griffin's twin brother, Alan, has been added to the NPCs section -- check him out!

As promised, some large updates you should be aware of:

1. Player cap expansion. The X-RP will now run with 15 active players as opposed to only 10. This change was made due to the amount of interest shown in the roleplay, and to better keep the flow of action going when player absences occur. Due to some unfortunate technical difficulties, all of the player applications previously sent in through the Join form have been lost. As such, if you've already sent in a submission and are still interested in joining the X-RP, please re-send us your application ASAP and you will be immediately considered for a position. The same applies for any new folks applying for the first time.

2. X-RP board change. KA and Rose have generously offered to host the X-RP on their new forum. The old forum will remain where it is, however, all player accounts will be disabled (players will be contacted before this happens), news and OOC threads will be removed, and the only thing remaining will be the IC threads (for reference). On the new forum, X-RP members (this includes both players and registered guests) will have login information that will allow them to view the OOC, News, and IC threads related to the roleplay (members and guests have different priviliges, see the Join section for details), whereas non-members will see a single thread referring them to this website.

3. Guest applications. Want to watch the X-RP but not actually participate in it? Visit the Join section to register as a guest! Before we would only accept guests referred by players, but now guest accounts are open to the public -- all you have to do is register to be one.
