Rose bought an iPod Nano on Friday; it's pretty neat, though I'm not sure I like the whole
iTunes integration thing. I wish it could just work as an extra drive, like my own MP3 player
does; it'd feel less like I'm part of some scam. At any rate, with all the peripherals and
everything it cost her 400$ (CDN), which is a teeny bit pricey but not too bad (in my humble
opinion). If it came in other colors besides black and white, maybe I'd get one as well; they
(like just about every other Apple product, recently) are pretty fashionable.

level, like 30 or something at this point. Meeks the gnome actually has a

Alliance alt but isn't any longer. My new Alliance alt is Mezzen, who
with Rose's paladin Detta
while I try my best to get him up to Meeks' level. Rose is afraid of partying with other people
(she's had terrible luck with parties, unlike me), so her quest log is currently full of instance
quests -- which she can't do alone (unless they're lowbie instances, like

which we farmed over and over again 'cause it was fun as Hell) -- hence the reason for creating Mezzen.
I find the Alliance boring as shit (despite the fact that it's admittedly

so after some whining I managed to get Rose to jump over to the Horde. She runs an
there that looks awesome and is totally the poster child for girl power, as well as a troll
(it's funny, 'cause in the screenshot the human girl standing beside Neph is actually my main in a Halloween costume; my main

I usually play rogues 'cause, well...I'm cheap, but two weeks ago I decided to try a playing a priest; it' actually
pretty fun; Rose made a pally to support my sorry Alliance ass, and we named
after a Sith Lord from KotOR and a dark side Jedi (go figure). We kinda participated in the recent
event, and by that I mean that we had our unique kills stolen from us by a player 20 levels too high for the area
he was 'poaching' in. We managed to waste one monster, though, after the guy got his ass handed to him (ha ha!) and
got a crapload of good items for it. Besides that:
- these are painful to look at but oh so wicked

In other news, yesterday my D&D character got mind switched during a semi-botched assassination attempt. I'm pretty fucking pissed about it,
to say the least. I'd go on, but it would only degenerate into a pointless and embarassing rant.
And finally, on Friday, I went out and bought Mao Tse-Tung's biography. Once I'm through with Ellul's Propaganda, I'll
jump into that.
