Not much going on as of late.
Rose is still working on chapter 5 of The Last New Yorker; I have yet to re-read her latest fragment. We'll get the ball rolling
on that one soon enough, so please bear with us.
The elections are coming up; I haven't voted yet. I can't say I feel too engaged in this election, though -- it's getting me a
wee bit down when I think of it. I'll likely end up voting NDP, just 'cause they at least put forth some measure of new ideas.
I miss Jean Chrétien.
Rose bought Legacy of Kain: Defiance for the XBOX; she didn't much like playing it on the PC. We played that a bit this week and
have decided that, though it isn't great, it's still fun. Raziel is a whiny bitch and kinda fulfils the role of the main female
character in any RPG game -- it's ridiculous and really kinda hot. Dah well, at least I get to hear Kain say 'Vae Victus!'. Mmm.
Still playing World of Warcraft as well. I realized that I really don't enjoy the game unless I'm playing a rogue, so I gave up
on Veldrin (my Hunter) and made a Night Elf rogue called Mezzen (heehee!). He's level 26 now; ran Rose's Paladin (Detta is her name)
through Dead Mines with a pick-up group -- which was actually pretty fun. God I love playing alongside a good Paladin... total case
of <3 Detta.
Speaking of Warcraft, I just realized that, in my last news post where I invited you all to join Rose and I online, I completely
forgot to tell you which server we're on. We're on Moonrunner. Hopefully we'll see some of you now! For the time being, please
send any whispers/mails to either Mezzen or Detta or Meeks (all Alliance).
Anyway, work calls.
