[2. Trade] [KA]: WTB [Dignity]x1 PST

Rose wrote chapter 4 of her Last New Yorker novel; you should check it out (see bottom of left sidebar for link), it's pretty good. We did a shitload of discussing and finally came up with what we believe is a half-decent path for the current ghost story subplot to follow; hopefully you guys'll share our opinion. Some sweet character development-y stuff is coming up for Jeri in the next chapter, as well as some appearances from other NPC-ish but nonetheless important characters. I'm really rather looking forward to it, as for the sake of its accuracy today I totally dropped all semblances of social aptitude and downright interrogated one of the guys I work with about Muslim funeral rites. I'm real nervous about touching (even if Rose is actually the one writing the story, I'm kinda like the director -- so I feel responsible for shit sometimes) a religion that isn't my own, especially in something intimate like a funeral, but I honestly think it's worth it -- it adds so much color to the world and if you guys can forgive our non-intentional ignorance and/or arrogance, I'd like to think that you may enjoy seeing something different (or, in some cases, familiar)...

...but if I'm dead wrong and that's not the case, well...sorry. Seriously. My bad. Can't promise we won't try again some other time, though.

Speaking of social ineptitude, I recently (re)discovered that I am an INTJ personality type -- and that the rest of my D&D crew is as well, to the exclusion of Rose who is in fact an ISFP. In an awkwardly-directed but interesting meeting we discussed our common traits in hopes of acheiving an honest, in-depth conversation where we'd learn a little more about one-another. Some noteworthy data was accumulated, but nothing too exciting. By 9 or 10 PM the moral of the night boiled down to this: I need to never talk about what goes on inside my head, James is terrible at playing Dark Side in KotOR2, and it is truly remarkable that we all hang out almost each week for 8 hours or so even if is 'cause we all love D&D. Man, there's got to be a way for WotC to market that.

In case you're wondering about the title of this news post, suffice it to say that Rose and I got back into World of Warcraft and we've been playing it pretty hardcore for a couple weeks now. In case you're interested, we made a couple guilds that you can join if you send us an in-game tell; we're looking for mature, casual players who just want folks to group with/chat with every now and then -- we're not nazis and we won't demand that you log on X times a week or whatever 'cause we don't want you to expect the same of us. Anyhoo, if you have WoW and you're interested, send a whisper or an in-game mail to one of the below characters, depending on your faction:

Alliance guild: Capulet
Meeks (44 Gnome Warrior/Rose's main)
Hepzibah (29 Gnome Warlock/KA's alt)
Veldrin (15 Night Elf Hunter/KA's alt)
Mikaa (11 Night Elf Hunter/Rose's alt)

Horde guild: Montague
Aumana (41 Undead Rogue/KA's main)
Nephtet (27 Troll Priest/Rose's alt)

We have tabards 'n stuff as well. It'd be cool to have you guys over in WoW with us so come on!

In the real world, politics suck, work sucks and I want tomato soup for dinner. If you haven't already, read Rose's latest Labamba! rant (look those up to the left there, champ) -- it's not anything you haven't heard before, but it's still nice to hear(read). I run into so much ignorance at work with all the people I talk to each day and sometimes it's nice to know that at least some people are on (what I understand is) the right track. Keeps those über-anarchist urges in check -- which is a good thing, 'cause I really doubt I'd be able to write irrelevant news posts like this one while listening to DJ Ko Kimura on WinAmp once they put me in jail. Just a hunch, I don't know...LoL.

Did you see the Goblet of Fire movie? Dumbledore is so badass! U pwnz0r dat biatch, D!
